What you're buying
Local Map Shop makes custom illustrated keepsake maps. You tell us about your place and your favourite spots; we produce a map pack — a print-ready poster PDF, a welcome-handout PDF and a square social image — and deliver it through a private download link.
The artwork is generated with AIin the style you choose. The names, numbers and labels are added afterwards as real text, and a person checks each map before it's delivered. It's an artistic keepsake, not a navigation tool: it isn't to scale, and the illustration won't match real streets exactly.
Price and payment
A map pack costs $49.00 (US dollars), paid once at checkout through Stripe. There is no subscription. Any taxes are shown at checkout.
Delivery
We aim to deliver your first draft within 3 business days, and usually much sooner. If we can't deliver at all, we'll refund you in full.
Revisions and refunds
You get free revisions until the map is right, and a refund if it still isn't for you. The details are in our refund policy.
What you send us
You confirm you have the right to use anything you give us — for example a logo or a business name — and you let us use it only to make and deliver your map. Please don't send anything unlawful, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights; we may decline or refund such orders.
Using your map
Once you've paid, you may print, display, share and use your map pack for personal and business purposes — on your walls, in guest books, on your listing, website and social accounts. You may not resell the map itself as a product. We won't use your map in our own marketing without asking you first.
Liability
We work hard to get every map right, but we provide the service "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
